🐰 Zsá Zsá’s "bad bunnies" is the Viral Anthem of the Moment

TikTok made it viral. Zsá Zsá made it iconic.

There's a difference between going viral and becoming part of culture. Zsá Zsá may be doing both.

On May 1st, the Berlin-based artist dropped her debut single “bad bunnies” after weeks of teasing on TikTok & it's not just a hit, it's a format. The song's chaotic energy, cartoonish sass, and hyper-glossy beat structure speak directly to the algorithmic rhythms of Gen Z media consumption. It's brat pop for an audience raised on edits, side-eyes, and subversion.

The single is a loud, proud sugar crash - spliced with hyperpop DNA and early 2000s club nostalgia. But more importantly, it doesn't ask for permission. This is the sound of digital-native femininity in its most unfiltered, unapologetic form. Think Lisa Frank meets Bladee, with a wink to Y2K Paris Hilton.

Lyrically, “bad bunnies” employs a rapid-fire sequence of cultural references and brand name drops - “Crop-Top, Skyline, Nike Shox, Nightlife / G-Star, Xanax, Red Bull, high sein” - that evoke a stream-of-consciousness style reminiscent of Bushido's 2006 track “Sonnenbank Flavour”. Bushido's song was notable for its string of buzzwords and brand mentions, creating a vivid snapshot of urban youth culture at the time. Zsá Zsá's approach mirrors this technique, updating it for the digital age with a hyperpop twist.

Berlin's rap scene just got a fresh injection of sound—Pashanim dropped his EP "grünewürfelflow" on Wednesday, April 30th, and it’s exactly what fans have been craving.

The 7-track project is a sleek, tightly produced ride through Pashanim’s signature sonic universe: hazy beats, cinematic moods, and that unmistakable laid-back yet razor-sharp flow. Whether you're cruising through the city at night or lost in headphones on the U-Bahn, "grünewürfelflow" delivers a sound that’s uniquely his—effortless, atmospheric, and deeply rooted in Berlin’s ever-shifting youth culture.

With each track, Pashanim blurs the lines between street poetry and vibe music. There's growth here—lyrically and emotionally. Still grounded in the everyday realities of life in Germany’s capital, but with a more introspective edge, this EP feels like an artist stepping into his next phase.

No major features. No gimmicks. Just seven pure tracks that solidify what his fans already know: Pashanim is in a lane of his own.

If "Sommergewitter" was the anthem of a rising star, "grünewürfelflow" is the sound of someone staying true to his roots while expanding the horizon.

⚠️ Germany Declares the AfD a Right-Wing Extremist Party Democracy on Alert: Germany Officially Labels AfD a Threat

ree

On May 2, Germany’s Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution officially categorized the AfD (Alternative für Deutschland) as a right-wing extremist organization.

The implications are immediate and chilling. The far-right party—already active in regional governments—can now be legally surveilled, infiltrated, and potentially banned. While the AfD has long been accused of racism, Islamophobia and authoritarian rhetoric, this new designation confirms a transformation: from populist fringe to systemic threat.

This isn’t just a legal matter—it’s a cultural one. The rise of extremist narratives always plays out in the arenas of media, fashion, music and language.

For us, this isn’t politics at a distance. It’s a reminder: culture work is political. And silence is no longer neutral.

👟 Willy Chavarria x adidas Originals – Style as Statement

Culture Worn Loud: How adidas Originals and Chavarria Celebrate Chicano Roots

Willy Chavarria's collaboration with adidas Originals for the Spring/Summer 2025 collection is more than a fashion statement—it's a cultural reclamation. Drawing from his Mexican-American heritage, Chavarria presents workwear-inspired looks, including trucker hats, oversized chinos, and bandannas. The collection features athleisure with a Chicano twist, integrating adidas’s classic sport aesthetics with Chavarria’s vision of modernized streetwear.

The collection debuted at Paris Fashion Week, where Chavarria and adidas took over the streets with a vintage lowrider distributing limited-edition pieces at secret locations—a nod to Chicano car culture.  Notable pieces include a baggy white sweatshirt paneled in red and green, referencing the Mexican flag, and reimagined Jabbar sneakers bridging vintage basketball style with luxe-minimal design.

The term "Chicano" refers to people of Mexican descent born in the United States. It emerged prominently during the Chicano Movement of the 1960s, which advocated for social and political empowerment through cultural nationalism. The movement emphasized pride in Mexican heritage and identity, often rejecting assimilation into mainstream American culture.

Chicano culture encompasses a rich tapestry of traditions, including distinctive fashion styles characterized by elements like oversized clothing, bandanas, and specific color palettes. These styles have been expressions of identity, resistance, and community solidarity. Chavarria's collection pays homage to this heritage, blending traditional Chicano aesthetics with contemporary fashion.
