⛓️ DECODED: This week, we dedicate our post to Lorenz.

Lorenz A. was only 21 years old when he was shot four times in the back by a police officer. He posed no threat. His family and the "Justice for Lorenz" initiative are demanding full transparency and fear a racist motive behind his killing.
Despite the ongoing investigation, one thing is clear: there was no justification for shooting a young man from behind. Yet media coverage remains shockingly scarce.
Last Friday, thousands of people took to the streets across Germany — in Berlin, Braunschweig, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich — and 10,000 in Oldenburg alone. They gathered to grieve, to demand justice, to refuse silence.
The officer responsible has been suspended and is under investigation for manslaughter — but systemic issues run deeper. In Germany, as in so many other places, police violence against Black people and children of migrant backgrounds is rising, shielded by structures that resist real accountability.
We refuse to look away. Lorenz and his family deserve truth, justice, and peace.
We call on you: raise your voice. Speak up. Stand with Lorenz.
