🕶️ Vision of the Future: Ralph Lauren & A$AP Rocky Reimagine Style With Heritage & Heat
Ralph Lauren’s Oak Bluffs collection honors Black heritage with collegiate pride, while A$AP Rocky’s collab with Ray-Ban pushes cyberpunk eyewear into the future.
Ralph Lauren just dropped a collection that feels more like a cultural memoir than a capsule. Honoring Oak Bluffs, the historic Black community on Martha’s Vineyard, the Polo Ralph Lauren for Oak Bluffs line blends preppy summer ease with deep-rooted heritage.
Conceived by Morehouse and Spelman alumni — including Ralph Lauren’s first Black creative director James M. Jeter — the collection brings varsity jackets, nautical stripes, and sun-faded knits into sharp historical focus. Every patch, every stitch tells a story — from college pride to porch socials by the sea.
But this isn’t nostalgia for nostalgia’s sake. It’s intentional storytelling, backed by a full documentary and a community-first campaign. Legacy, preserved in thread.

On the other side of the timeline, A$AP Rocky is doing what he does best: bending reality with style. His new collab with Ray-Ban — Next Generation — pushes the eyewear brand into cyberpunk territory.
Debuted at Paris Fashion Week during his AWGE showcase, the collection is all wraparound frames, reflective lenses, and Y2K-futurism, straight out of a dreamscape built in Harlem.
It’s retro-future with rave appeal — and limited, of course. Rocky’s not just seeing the future — he’s selling it, one lens at a time.
🎶 Summer's Crown: Drake, Tyla, Mariah & Central Cee Set the Season in Motion
Big drops. Bold collabs. And women running the rhythm. Music this week is doing the most — and it sounds incredible.
Drake is back in Iceman mode — and he brought Central Cee with him. Their new track “Which One” is a moody, clever rap confession wrapped in velvet production and double-take punchlines. “You want Cench or your ex, which one?” — it’s not subtle, but it slaps.

The drop follows their viral freestyle and recent Wireless team-up — and the internet’s already theorizing: a full collab tape incoming? Maybe. But for now, “Which One” is more than enough to stir the streets.

Tyla, meanwhile, just dropped her WWP mixtape — and it starts strong. “Dynamite” featuring Wizkid leads the tape with steamy flair — a smooth, sun-soaked anthem that sets the tone for a season she’s clearly owning. Tyla’s not a breakout anymore — she’s a force.
Then there’s Mariah Carey, sliding into summer with Sugar Sweet, featuring Shenseea and Kehlani. It’s flirty, freaky, and unexpectedly dancehall — with breathy verses and spicy bars that remind us why Mariah stays relevant in every era.

This summer? Women are setting the tone, and the men — even ones named Drake — are just trying to keep up.
👑 All Hail the Queens: Destiny’s Child Returns & England Makes Football History
From pop royalty to pitch domination — this week proved that when women lead, the world watches.
At the grand finale of her Cowboy Carter tour, Beyoncé surprised fans with a Destiny’s Child reunion — first time in seven years. Joined by Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, the trio performed a high-energy medley of hits like Independent Women, Lose My Breath, and Bootylicious, reminding us all why they’re one of the most iconic girl groups ever.

Meanwhile, England’s Women’s National Football Team made history by winning the Women’s Euro Championship, marking a massive moment for women’s sports and culture. The packed stadiums and record-breaking views showed that this is just the beginning for women’s football.

When women step up, they don’t just win trophies — they shift culture.
💄 Beauty Meets Purpose: Huda Beauty x Saint Levant & Eno’s Secret Perfume Empire
Two stories showing how culture and business can spark real change — and surprise us along the way.

Huda Beauty teamed up with Palestinian artist Saint Levant to launch a new shade of Faux Filler Lip Oil called Kalamantina. Beyond its clementine scent and stunning color, the collab donates all proceeds to support Palestinian agriculture and cultural preservation. It’s a bold blend of beauty and activism, with Saint Levant calling the partnership “a powerful inspiration for young Arabs pushing boundaries.”
Meanwhile, rapper and entrepreneur Eno surprised fans in a livestream with Daniel Slump by revealing ownership of Oil de Parfum, a niche fragrance brand based in Frankfurt and Wiesbaden. Unlike typical rapper side hustles, this is a fully independent business with its own identity — one Eno kept under wraps to avoid the usual “celebrity brand” label.
Now out in the open, it shows his sharp business mindset and a side of the artist most didn’t expect.
